Editorial Policy

ChainWatch Daily exists to help readers understand digital assets clearly and honestly. This policy explains how we produce our journalism and what you can hold us to.

Sourcing and accuracy

• We prioritise primary sources — filings, on-chain data, official statements — over second-hand reports.
• Significant factual claims are checked against at least one verifiable source before publication.
• Where a story relies on a single source or unconfirmed information, we say so plainly.

Independence

Our coverage is never for sale. We do not accept payment to write, rank, or omit a story, and commercial relationships never influence editorial judgement. Sponsored content, if it ever appears, is clearly labelled and kept separate from the newsroom.

Fact-checking and corrections

Stories are edited and, where practical, reviewed by an editor other than the author, who is named on the article. When we learn of an error we correct it in the open, with a note explaining what changed.

Use of AI

AI tools may assist with research, transcription or drafting, but every published article is written, edited and verified by a named human who is accountable for it.

If we cannot stand behind a claim, we do not publish it. If we get it wrong, we fix it in the open.
