Arrakis Finance
Arrakis Finance is an on-chain market maker that manages DEX liquidity for token issuers from vaults the issuer owns.
Also known as Arrakis · Arrakis Pro
The short answer
Its product, Arrakis Pro, rebalances concentrated-liquidity positions on Uniswap, Aerodrome, PancakeSwap and Velodrome, and now also makes markets on Hyperliquid and Solana. As of October 2026 DefiLlama tracks about $60.2 million in Arrakis vaults, and the company says it serves more than 100 token issuers. It is a business-to-business service with fees agreed per client, and the main caveat is that Arrakis publishes no per-client reporting.

What Arrakis Finance is and who runs it
Arrakis sells market making that happens entirely on-chain. Instead of borrowing a project's tokens and quoting on centralized exchanges, as a traditional market maker such as GSR does, Arrakis runs liquidity positions on decentralized exchanges from a vault the project owns.
The operating company is Spacing Guild GmbH, a Swiss limited company in Zug, named as data controller in the Arrakis privacy policy. The Swiss commercial register lists its seat at Dammstrasse 16 in Zug and, as of September 2026, two partners and managing directors, Luis Schliesske and Hilmar Maximilian Orth, each holding 100 shares of CHF 100. The register describes its purpose as software development, particularly around distributed-ledger technology. Arrakis's GitHub organization dates from January 2022, when its first vault contracts were published. Arrakis does not publish funding or headcount, and it has no token listed on its site or docs.

How Arrakis Pro works
Arrakis deploys a vault for the issuer and transfers the vault NFT to the issuer's multisig. Whoever holds that NFT controls the assets and can pause, reconfigure or withdraw at any time, according to the docs. Arrakis's off-chain system watches price, volatility and inventory, and sends rebalancing instructions to the vault; changes to the vault's core parameters wait two days so the owner can review or leave.
Issuers pick a strategy: Bootstrap builds ETH or stablecoin reserves at launch, Flagship concentrates liquidity around the market price, Yield-Bearing Asset keeps sell-side depth for tokens that accrue yield, and Treasury Diversification sells project tokens into organic demand over time. Uniswap v4 hooks add dynamic fees and price convergence, which pulls a pool toward an external reference price for real-world assets.
Arrakis's own case study for Morpho says that after it took over the MORPHO pool on Uniswap v4 in June 2025, sell-side price impact on a $5,000 trade fell from about 0.45% to 0.16%. That is the company's analysis of its own work.
On Hyperliquid the model is different: the issuer brings capital and Arrakis manages execution, rather than running a vault.
| Chain | Venues |
|---|---|
| Ethereum | Uniswap v3, v4 |
| Base | Uniswap v4, Aerodrome |
| Arbitrum, Unichain, Ink | Uniswap v4 |
| Optimism | Uniswap v4, Velodrome |
| BNB Chain | PancakeSwap v3, v4 |
| Solana | PropAMM on Jupiter and Titan |
| Hyperliquid | Spot and perpetuals, delegated execution |
Fees
Arrakis does not publish a price list. Its terms say service fees are those disclosed in the smart contracts, shown on the platform or agreed in an individual agreement, and that fees exclude VAT. A team comparing offers should ask whether the fee is a share of trading fees, a fixed retainer or both, and get it in writing.
Security and risks
Arrakis lists audits by ChainSecurity, Sherlock, Watchpug, Enigma Dark, Cantina and Pashov Audit Group, covering its modular core and each DEX module from 2023 to 2026; the reports are released on request rather than posted. Vulnerabilities go to [email protected]. We found no public bug bounty.
Its risk page names the main hazards: smart-contract bugs, a faulty upgrade slipping through the 48-hour timelock, a misconfigured or compromised off-chain manager leaking value to MEV (Arrakis caps leakage per block), oracle failure, and divergence loss. Arrakis states that its strategies aim for neutral to positive returns against holding but do not guarantee them. For background on the value searchers extract from liquidity pools, see MEV explained.
In August 2026 an older Arrakis V1 vault lost 2.94 WETH, about $7,100, to a sandwich attack on its Uniswap v3 share accounting, according to SlowMist and DefiLlama. The loss was small, and we found no Arrakis statement about it.
Getting started, leaving and support
Onboarding starts with the contact form on arrakis.finance; Arrakis then deploys and configures the vault. Leaving is in the issuer's hands: the NFT holder can withdraw the vault's assets at any time, and the terms say the service ends on termination of the agreement. There is no retail product to sign up for.
Support and announcements run through the website contact form, docs and the @ArrakisFinance account on X. Confirm any address or contract with Arrakis through those channels before moving funds.

Outcome not documented

Questions people ask
Is Arrakis Finance custodial?
No, by design. The issuer owns the vault through an NFT held in its own multisig, and the holder can pause or withdraw at any time. Arrakis controls the strategy, not the funds. The trade-off is that the issuer carries smart-contract and strategy risk itself, and the terms describe Arrakis's tools as complements to third-party exchanges rather than a guarantee of results.
Is Arrakis regulated?
Arrakis publishes no financial licence. Its operating company, Spacing Guild GmbH, is registered in Zug for software development, and its terms are governed by Swiss law. Users must confirm they are not on UN, EU or Swiss sanctions lists. A token issuer should check whether using an on-chain market maker raises disclosure duties in its own jurisdiction.
Does Arrakis have a token?
No Arrakis token is mentioned on its website or in its documentation as of October 2026. Its GitHub organization includes an early staking-contracts repository from 2022, but the current product, Arrakis Pro, is sold as a service to issuers and is not tied to holding any token.
Can individuals deposit with Arrakis?
Arrakis Pro is aimed at token issuers, not retail users, and onboarding goes through a contact form. Older public Arrakis vaults still exist on-chain, and the August 2026 exploit hit one of those V1 vaults, so anyone holding legacy vault shares should check where they sit.
